Hello everybody! does anybody knows how to use this tuner (ET-3000+ alike) in a way to tune down 1/2 a guitar and etc.?

I used friend’s enote tuner (have my own Korg mic/plug in type) and the enote is by far superior in a noisy environment such as I’m always in when playing live with the band. This enote is the best tuner I’ve ever used, period! I’m looking for best place to buy my own.

I just checked my mac garage band, and it does have a built in tuner! That is sooo cool! It saves the batteries in my small clip on tuners.

I still like the clip ons for portability.

I’m still using the IMT-500 as my main tuning device. I do know what you mean about the key rattle. It depends on the song I’m playing as to if it bothers me or not. What we really need is a robot uke like the new robot Gibson electric guitars! I’ve not seen them in action, but I hear that they have tuners built in that automatically adjust when necessary.

Tuner I prefer is the Korg AW-1. Weakness vs. the IMT (my 2nd choice) is it eats up batteries and no backlight. Strength are no button buzz/rattle, mic or iezo option and quick response. Korg is expensive relative to the eNote & IMT. eNote seems to have no advantage over either the Korg or IMT. The changing color LCD seems more like a marketing hook.

I believe GarageBand for the Mac has a built in chromatic tuner and isn’t it free as well ?

This appears to be identical to the Eno ET-3000 chromatic tuner, I guess they’re one and the same just badged differently. I’ve not had any problems with mine, but I rarely use it these days due to me using a AP Tuner a chromatic tuner that works on your PC assuming you have a mic plugged in, it is lighning fast and because I practice next to my PC its very convenient.
